Patty continues the series called, “That’s My Favorite Verse!”
Today’s favorite verse belongs to her husband Marshall and comes from Proverbs 22:1. It can be tempting to do whatever we can to get ahead—even if that means being dishonest or stepping over others to get what we need but this verse says that a good name is more important. And that good name comes because of integrity.
Here’s Your Homework: As you read God’s word for yourself. Take note of when God honors people for their integrity. When you read a verse about honesty, a good name, or honoring God with your actions. Write it down! Then let me know what you find using this email address: patty@pattyparker.me
I’d love to hear what you’re discovering in God’s word!
